Deloitte calls on West Midlands entrepreneurs to share their views

Business advisory firm Deloitte has opened its annual survey of UK entrepreneurs for its report ‘Entrepreneurship UK: 2011/12’ and is calling on businesses in the West Midlands to take part.

Now in its fourth year, Entrepreneurship UK has become a leading report reflecting the current attitudes, performance and objectives of entrepreneurs and their businesses.

Ashley Hollinshead, entrepreneurial business partner at Deloitte in Birmingham, said: “The Entrepreneurship UK survey is an opportunity for the region’s entrepreneurs to give their views on how they are feeling and their plans for the future. It’s about getting a better understanding of what makes entrepreneurial businesses tick.

Entrepreneurs cautiously optimistic about the future

Entrepreneurs in East Anglia are cautiously optimistic about the prospects for their businesses in 2011, with more than 80 per cent forecasting revenue growth over the next 12 months, according to the results of Deloitte’s annual Entrepreneurship UK report.

The survey reveals that around 40 per cent of entrepreneurial businesses in the region expect to generate up to ten per cent revenue growth in the coming year. More than 30 per cent forecast growth of between ten and 30 per cent, while the more optimistic businesses (15 per cent) predict growth of 30 per cent and above. Less than ten per cent of those surveyed predict zero or negative growth.

Deloitte seeks views of entrepreneurs

Business advisory firm Deloitte has opened its annual survey of the UK’s entrepreneurs for its report ‘Entrepreneurship UK: 2010/11’ and is inviting entrepreneurs from across the East Midlands to take part.

Now in its third year, the annual report gathers the views of entrepreneurs and offers an insight into the mindset and intentions of the people who run the entrepreneurial companies that underpin the UK economy.
