HSBC appoints CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc as global property adviser for 72 million sq ft portfolio

2 August, 2011 –CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) today announced that it has been appointed by HSBC to serve as Global Strategic Property Portfolio Manager and Regional Transaction Partner in the Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America regions. HSBC’s global property portfolio comprises more than 7,500 properties with approximately 72 million sq ft located in 87 countries.

Regeneration duo join Colliers International

The Birmingham office of Colliers International has boosted its regeneration and public sector capabilities with the appointment of two new consultants.

Will Evans is one of the Midlands’ best-known regeneration experts. Formerly development director at Walsall Regeneration Company, and latterly at Wolverhampton Development Company, Will was responsible for promoting the economic growth of the Black Country towns, and delivering a number of high profile public/private partnership developments including Wolverhampton’s City Canalside, Giga-PORT in Walsall, and the Walsall Waterfront.

An architect by profession, Will has also worked as a development surveyor, and in both the public and private sector.  He is chairman of the Birmingham Forum for the Built Environment. Continue reading
