Charity completes Sheffield scheme

Children’s charity Barnardo’s has secured the last remaining unit at Birley Moor Park, in Sheffield.

Barnardo’s has taken 1,300 sq ft at the development on Birley Moor Road, on a ten year lease.

The former petrol filling station site has been redeveloped by Jack Loggin Ltd to provide a mixed-use scheme comprising 14 apartments on the first and second floor, and 7,100 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor.

Jack Loggin Ltd instructed Colliers International’s automotive and roadside team to provide development and agency advice on the scheme. Pre-lets were secured to Tesco Express, which took 3,800 sq ft,  and Vets4Pets (2,000 sq ft).

Ben Briant, senior surveyor at Colliers International, said: “With Tesco Express anchoring the scheme we recieved a good level of interest from operators who were looking for good prominent roadside developments.”
